So, I just wanted to give a little shout out to Verizon for an exceptional product: FiOS. I just got FiOS at my home, but our office has had FiOS internet for several months now. On the TV side, the image quality is significantly better, brighter and crisper and that's on a glass tube TV! I was very happy to see the improvement over Directv. Also, their menu interface is a lot cleaner, and crisper than that of Directv or Comcast. It feels more like a computer interface than a console for th...

Welp, that was a fast two weeks! My initial response is if you’re not going to use Microsoft web based products, FireFox is just as usable as Internet Explorer, but please do read on. If you plan on EVER touching Microsoft web products (explained a little later) then IE is the way to go. You suffer little as far as I can see in features between the two browsers. Below I explain some of the common differences between the two browsers th...

I installed Windows Vista on 2.3.07 and I love it! I need it! Can't live without it! I decided to share what I've discovered in Vista between the pros and cons, bugs, features, "features", compatibility, non-compatibility, fixes, sneaks, tweaks and peeks. (Sorry, got carried away there for a bit). This a great release of Windows, just like XP was from 2000/98. I anticipate a lot of hot fixes for Vista, surprised there aren't a lot yet.
THIS IS NOT A COMPLETE LIST, I'LL BE UDPATING REGULAR...

Now, why would I want to comment on the two top browsers in the entire world wide web? Because there are enough do-do-head-anti-microsoft users out there that believe microsoft is the anti-christ and we're just waiting to be raptured. I'm a web developer so I do have FireFox 2 (FF) installed for the purposes of testing my websites for compatibility. I primarily use Internet Explorer 7 (IE) as it is more commonly accepted and I believe just as feature rich as FF. My fellow programmer primarily us...

For about a year and a half now my company Delphi Technology (www.delphi-ts.com) has had a dedicated server hosted in Florida and we can't complain. We have about 30 accounts on it and the server runs great. We offer quality hosting, not cheap hosting. Our base package is $19.99 per month for 1GB storage space. All of our plans are customizable and we're willing to work out a hosting plan that fits your needs and budget (even if it’s less than $19.99/mnth). Let me rant about cheap hosting provid...

CuteEditor by CuteSoft.net is a kicking WYSIWYG editor. I've checked out a few others and this one is more compatible cross platform, has more powerful features, and is very easy to use.
- I am confident when I release a web application that users using Macs and PCs will have the same results in editing content.- Some features this editor has blows my mind. It has built in media uploading. So end users can easily upload images, video and flash to their content, and then lay them out...

Five Stars, two thumbs up
An absolutely beautiful piece of server based antivirus and spam filtering. We have several customers now on it and all are very happy. Customers receiving approximatly 30K spam messages per month (only 15 users!) now receive one or two per person per day. Other customers don't even see spam at all. Also, there has been virtually no issues where legitimate emails have been caught up.
Symantec Mail Security is a server based application which will filter incoming and o...

So, at my company we're using Microsoft's CRM 3.0 and I must say, I like it. The integration with Outlook is seamless and customization is easy too. We have, however, experienced some significant performance issued with it, specifically when installed as a Laptop Client. We don't have any Desktop Clients installed yet but I'm guessing this isn't issue with the Desktop Client.
If you don't know, the Laptop Client uses MSDE 2000 to store the data offline and synchronizes with the SQL server that ...
