Delphi Technology Solutions announces an Open House Event on Thursday, October 29, 2009 from 3-7 p.m. in Wilmington, Ma.

In celebration of Delphi’s 7 year commitment to aiding Public Safety Personnel with cutting-edge technology tools, and in commemoration of Delphi’s new headquarters grand opening, Public Safety Personnel are invited to us and other public servants for an afternoon of food, fun and learning more about how Delphi’s technology tools can better aid the daily needs and emergency incidents of police departments.

The afternoon will feature specially tailored opportunities to explore Delphi’s nationally employed Digital HeadQuarters systems (DHQ™), as well as with other innovative Delphi systems and program upgrades. Along with gifts and giveaways for all that attend, the event will also include the ability to meet one-on-one with technical specialist developers to present questions and challenges your police department faces, as well as opportunities to provide valuable and experienced input during discussions on new research and development efforts.

“DHQ™ has greatly improved our efforts to streamline the flow of information making Roll call information more timely and easily accessed by everyone,” Chief Steven B. Delphi installs DHQ at Concord Police

Today, Delphi Technology Solutions installed Digital HeadQuarters at the Concord Police Department, www.concordma.gov, in Massachusetts.

A large component missing in the Concord Police Department's infrastructure was a need for sensitive law enforcement information to be shared with police officers at roll call without sharing the information with their fire department. Their current option was to use their CAD RMS system which couldn't decipher between a police or fire login and therefore would show the user all of the roll call information.

Digital HeadQuarters will allow the police department to have their own location for storing roll call information and other sensitive law enforcement information. The police department is now able to centrally store information from any source including shift reports, crime reports, surveillance videos, roll call, BOLOs, crime alerts and more.

Another great feature of DHQ is everything is indexed and cataloged for easy searching. An officer can search by keyword and return information from every part of Digital HeadQuarters in a matter of seconds. A powerful tool for investigations!

Stoneham Little League releases new website

Delphi Technology has released the Stoneham Little League's new website, www.stonehambaseball.com. Their new website has been designed to be clean, easy to use and informative. Visitors, parents, players, and coaches can view their favorite teams' pages, including a player roster, schedule, scores and standings.

Through their new website, the league is able to share information instantly and more effectively to its players and families. Unlike their previous site, updating information is fast and easy. Utilizing Delphi's custom CMS solution, coaches and the board of directors can securely log in and update game scores, schedules, announcements, teams, rosters, photo albums. Virtually anything on their website can be updated through a secure login.

2009 Massachusetts Chiefs of Police Association Annual Tradeshow

Roll Call Image Viewer and Policy Sign Off released for DHQ

Delphi has released two new updates for Digital HeadQuarters.

The first update enhances the functionality of DHQ's digital roll call. Any attached images will appear below the roll call item allowing officers to read through roll call items without having to click to view each attached image. An example can be found on the DHQ feature's page.

The second update is a new feature to DHQ: Policy Sign Off. The new Policy Sign Off web part allows supervisors to prompt officers to read and sign off on selected policies and general orders. In a few simple clicks Supervisors can specify which documents they want to share with officers. Officers can then click to read the document, and if they have understood the document, click to sign off on document. Supervisors can pull reports on each document of who has or has not read the document.

Both updates are available to all DHQ customers. DHQ customers currently under a support agreement will receive these updates for free and should contact Delphi to schedule their upgrade.

New COFAR Website

Delphi Technology, together with Elwell Design, www.elwelldesign.com, completed the Massachusetts Coalition of Families and Advocates for the Retarded website last month, www.cofar.org. In their newsletter, COFAR shared:

Delphi releases Attached Image Viewer for DHQ

Delphi has released a new feature for Digital HeadQuarters, the Attached Image Viewer. This new feature will display any attached images of an item on the same page as the item. No longer will users have to click an image to view it, it will now be displayed all on the same page.

This new feature is exceptionally beneficial to DHQ's digital roll call list, allowing supervisors and officers to review roll call faster, and in less clicks. During roll call, a supervisor can read the description of the item while officers are viewing it's attached images on the screen.

This feature is now included in all new DHQ installations, and is available free of charge to all agencies with a current support contract. Agencies or other companies interested in this feature should contact our sales department for pricing.

Tailored for Success releases new website

Tailored for Success is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping economically disadvantaged women return to the workforce. Their "mission is achieved by distributing free interview appropriate business suits and career clothing, providing interview coaching and professional image consulting; and giving women the opportunity to participate in career development workshops"*

With Elwell Design, www.elwelldesign.com, Delphi Technology created a new website for Tailored for Success, www.tailoredforsuccess.org. The new website presents the organization with a new fresh look. Additional functionality now allows Tailored to share event information for women, and news articles.

Delphi developed the site using ASP.Net with XML data sources for the news and events. Tailored has a secure login for accessing and updating the data.

Sun Stream Consulting Group releases Goal-Link.com

The Sun Stream Consulting Group came to Delphi for a custom web application to help companies manage their employees' goals, and GoaL-Link was formed, www.goal-link.com. Delphi successfully put Sun Stream Consulting Group's thoughts into action and created a unique tool.

GoaL-Link is an online software designed to set, track and link numerous goals per individual, creating a corporate culture of productivity and growth. GoaL-Link.com helps companies of all sizes by aligning their employees' personal goals with their professional goals. Employees can receive optional email notifications at periodic dates before their goals' target dates to help remind them of their goals.

The site was developed using ASP.Net and uses SQL Server 2005. Email notifications are automatically sent every night at midnight and are managed by Delphi's hosting servers.

Delphi is also a user of GoaL-Link.

Interstate Arms hires Delphi for online dealer's portal

Interstate Arms Corp, www.interstatearms.com, and Delphi has started a new project today which will provide Interstate's commercial sales dealers access to their inventory and will allow dealers to place orders online. Dealers will be able to view real-time inventory of Interstate's available guns and gun accessories, as well as place an order online in only a few clicks.

The system will verify each dealer login based on federal guidelines and will not allow unauthorized users access to the inventory nor place an order without the proper permissions.

About 2 years ago, Interstate Arms selected Delphi to rebuild their entire website, including a dealer login. At the time, the dealer login was a short list of select products available to the dealers. This latest update enhances the dealer portal significantly and allows their sales reps to better service their customers faster and thoroughly.

The new updates are due to be released during the first quarter of 2009.

Harvard Society for the Advancement of Orthodontics releases member site

The Harvard Society for the Advancement of Orthodontics (HSAO) has released it's new web site: www.hsao-online.org. Together with Elwell Design, www.elwelldesign.com, Delphi Technology developed HSAO a comprehensive solution for it's members, alumni, residents and retirees to get and stay connected.

Some of the features HSAO now offers are:

The society administration can create and manage events and its registrants, including monies, through the website.
Members can post and share their own publications with other members as well as the general public.
Using a common forum, members can share case study information, clinical research, job offerings or simply what's going on in their lives.

The society's President James K. Hartsfield, Jr. comments "It is intended to be a place where you can make new acquaintances and reaffirm old ones across distance and time. It will be a forum for discussion and even debate in the best Harvard fashion, and will serve to carry us forward for the advancement of orthodontics."*

In addition to members being able to share their information, the society is also able to collect dues from its membership, a process which use to take a significant amount of time is now completed with ease by each paying member online through secure credt card processing.

Essex County Sheriff's Department releases new information sharing network

The Essex County Sheriff's Department has released their new Essex County Information Sharing Network (ECISN). ECISN serves the police departments within the communities within Essex County by providing a central location for collaboration on crimes, gangs, prision releases and more. Police departments from each member community can post informtion, images, videos and more to instantly share with their neighboring communities.

ECISN was created on Microsoft's SharePoint architecture. Delphi customized SharePoint with custom lists, web parts and workflows. Delphi also provided Essex County with recommended specifications for their system and assisted in installing and configuring the servers. The staff at Essex County Sheriff's Department maintain and manage the site themselves.

Delphi is awarded NEMLEC SharePoint Migration

The Northeast Metropolitian Law Enforcement Council (NEMLEC) consists of approximately 35 communities in northeast Massachusetts. NEMLEC's SharePoint application was originally developed by Delphi in 2007, using SharePoint 2.0. As expected, interest in NEMLEC and their SharePoint application grew and soon their SharePoint application needed an upgrade.

NEMLEC was unable to upgrade their SharePoint to the latest version due to hardware limitations. NEMLEC contracted with Delphi for project management services for the entire upgrade and migration process. Delphi recommended new hardware and software to host the NEMLEC SharePoint application. Delphi also migrated their SharePoint application from version 2 to 3, as well as moved their application to a new security domain.

Delphi trained about twenty five top level users on how to use the new system, create lists, sites, views and web parts. NEMLEC's SharePoint currently boasts 1,800 sworn police officers and continues to grow. Their system is currently being maintained by a handful of officers from varying communities throughout it's membership.
