1) Low cost licensing. The web application runs on Internet Information Services (IIS) which comes included with any Windows 2000 or Windows 2003 Server, therefore the license to host a web application is also included. There are no additional licenses for the number of customers or employees to connect. Additionally, you only need connection licenses to your backend database. In most cases, only a couple of database licenses are required to run fully functional web applications for several users!

2) Compatibility. Because your users only need a web browser to connect, one user could be using a Windows XP Pro machine with Internet Explorer and another could be using a Macintosh OS X with FireFox. Both users will receive the same experience on your web application. The developed application is browser independent.
